Incorrectly displayed Calculated Statement Balance after reconciling.

After matching and reconciling all transactions and closing the 'Reconcile Accounts' window and reopening it, the 'Closing Statement Balance' changes value and indicates an 'Out of Balance' value. It's not out of balance as it has just been reconciled and all entries check. Does anyone else have this issue or is this simply a bug?

Thanks, I used the suggestion but no joy. It works temporarily until the next reconciliation then becomes recalcitrant again. Is there bug fix on the way rather than trying to use work around solutions?

    Hi Xylon1,

That “incorrect” calculated statement balance is actually a known quirk with the Reconcile accounts screen, and it’s usually fixed by doing a quick future-dated reconciliation and then undoing it.

You can follow the steps in this post:  https://community.myob.com/discussions/bus-banking/bank-reconciliation/862122/replies/862610

Once you’ve done that, you should be able to reconcile again without any issues. If it’s still playing up after that, it’s best to reach out to our support team via My Account (log a ticket) or have a chat with us through MOCA, our virtual assistant.

    Regards,
    Genreve
