Copy company file

We have a change of management and the new person will be using Xero.   Currently we use AccountRight and I want to send the company file, including history to the new person so they can somehow import into Xero.    What is the best way to do this?   Do I just do a backup and send them the .myox file?

    Hi RoslynBowes,

     

    You can definitely do a company file backup and send the .myox file over, but just a heads up, it might not be possible to bring all that history from Xero straight in from an AccountRight file. You might need to look at bringing bits over via CSV files or chat with Xero support for their best option. You can also check this handy article on how to back up your company file in AccountRight.
