Error -15: Account number not found in list of postable accounts.

i have an error i cant see to get past.    i have done monthly journal imports with not much of a problem.  However this month i keep gettting Error -15: Account number not found in list of postabl...

Hi ,

thanks for your reply, 

 

It is not a header account and i have written to this account in the past by way of importing journals.

Thanks for that information 

 

If the ledger account numbers are all correct in the import file. I would suggest opening the import file in Notepad or Notepadd++ and saving it then trying the import again. 

 

Let me know if the issue still persists after then. I'm willing to help.
