Hi NNA0331,
Just to add another option here — I’m connected with MyDataXport, so being upfront about that.
It doesn’t produce a MYOB file that you restore back into AccountRight, so it’s not a replacement for MYOB’s own backup/restore process.
Where it may help is if you’re mainly trying to get the client’s records and attachments out before or during the move. MyDataXport exports available MYOB data and attachments into the client’s own cloud storage, like Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox.
That way they still have a searchable copy of things like invoices, bills, transactions, contacts and attachments outside the live MYOB file, which can be useful for audit history, record retention or future reference after the migration.
You can run a sample export first as well, so you can see what’s available before doing the full export.
It’s listed on the MYOB App Marketplace here:
https://www.myob.com/au/apps/mydataxport
Website is here too:

Might be useful if the issue is keeping access to the records and attachments, rather than needing a MYOB file that can be restored.
