Phocas Integrated App

Hi All

We have Phocas integrated with MYOB for our sales reporting.  On Monday we had to re-authenticate Phocas so the system would still work for an upgrade that is happening on 1st Sept.  This appeared to be working properly on Monday afternoon.

Since then there has been no data flowing through to Phocas and I see there is an error -Connection Error When Uploading Files to the Cloud - which has been in place in since Tuesday.

I'm not sure if these things are related. I have lodged a Support Query but have had no response.  Sales staff are getting pretty frustrated at this point - 4 days is a long time with no resolution.

Can someone confirm if the 2 events are related?

Does anyone have an idea when this error is likely to resolved?

I tried 10 minutes later, succeeded.

I'm able to log in to an AccountRight file now, but I'm not able to re-authorise an existing connection from our report-writer app to that file, so yes, this would override any other issue at the moment.

Hi Mike_James thanks for getting back so quickly.  Phocas have contacted MYOB directly.  The app is showing as connected (we did it Monday and again on Wed).

Staff could see data on Monday afternoon so it was working then.  Now there is no information at all, not even historical.

I will also submit a request with API Support team.

Do you think this has anything do with the Connection Error currently affecting AccountRight?

Hi annbrinck , have you contacted Phocas support, who may be able to give you specific error details. They will have made various changes to their integration to handle MYOB's new authorisation requirements (involving changed scopes and secure redirects). The general support channel is not equipped for this type of query.

As developers, they can raise a query with MYOB API support, who handle queries involving authentication and the API. https://apisupport.myob.com/hc/en-us
