Urgent - Importing a multi-line Sales Order

Hi,

I have a large sales order that I want to import into MYOB. I have used the training database to export a sales order. Adjusted the details and was able to import it back into the training database with no issues.

Now I want to do this with our MYOB database. I have exported the items that I want to create the order for, adjusted the details, but the import file doesn't work.

I saw one comment that said you must use the Sales Order code of "O". This does not appear to be selected when I am trying to import the file.

I would appreciate any help with this.

    Thank you for your reply. I have had a look at the log & it seems to have a problem with the number of characters in the item fields. I am using the same item numbers that I exported so I don't understand why it doesn't work.

    Anyway after numerous attempts I have given up and I am entering the order manually.

    Hi Learoy, 

     

    Importing a sales order with all the details filled out is a real time-saver, especially when you've got heaps of items in there.

    If your import file doesn't go through, there could be a few reasons behind it. After you try uploading, you'll usually get a log, have a squiz at that, as it'll help you figure out what's gone wrong. Check it out first and see if that points you in the right direction.
