Dividend payment

Hi how do you record a dividend payment to a company director? I know that the Company will need to pay the relevant taxes on the payment. Thanks

    Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community Forum. 

     

    Generally, if it's considered as an expense in the system we record it as a spend money transaction. But I would still recommend asking for help from a financial advisor for the best way to record this. As we are not allowed to provide any financial advise.
