How to check whether rollover to new FY has been completed in previous year

I migrated from myob accountright to myob business lite in FY2023. My balance sheet balances were incorrect for FY2023 & FY2024. I suspect I did not rollover to new financial year. How can I check wh...

Hi Jackson338, 

 

Knowing what financial year your file is on is certainly handy. In MYOB Business, you can check this by going to Business name (top right) > Business settings > Financial year. The Current financial year shown there tells you what you’ve rolled into (e.g., if it says 2023–24, then 22–23 has been closed; if it still says 2022–23, that year hasn’t been rolled yet).

 

Closing the year doesn’t wipe old data; you can still report on and (if not locked) edit previous years.
