Hi, I'm trying to lodge the May IAS but MYOB saying it can't connect to ATO and so my statement isn't available for lodgement. The deadline is approaching - any ideas why this isn't working?

The ATO has applied a fix and services have now been restored. Thanks so much for your patience whilst we worked to restore service.
We are having the same issue. We will have to pay our accountant to lodge our IAS. And despite our apparent "Priority Support" and being told we are at the "top of the queue" we are expected to wait one hour to speak to a support person on the phone and have been waiting 30 min to chat to live person on the MYOB Live chat.
Still no fix, still no reply from MYOB??? This is a crucial service that is now down for 4 days. I have 14 entities on MYOB and this is beyond painful.
I've been having the same problem for the past few days. Very disappointing.

I got excited thinking it was fixed. But no it wasn't. I hope MYOB gets this fixed in time for next months BAS and that they don't mess anything else up in the process.
Hi Amanda, I have been trying to file thru MYOB since last Friday, and still cant generate the connection to submit the BAS. When is this likely to be fixed?
MYOB is still NOT connecting to the ATO cant lodge BAS.
This issue has been going on for days, is MYOB paying the late fees?
I can't see anyone on this page that has been abusive. Everyone is just expressing understandable frustration at software that isn't working, that we are paying a lot of money for, and asking for updates on, that aren't forthcoming, hence leading to further frustration. And as we don't have direct access to 'the overlords' in the USA, the only voice that can advocate to them on our behalf is whoever is handling the Australian MYOB queries, like the moderator on this page.
I am glad you got yours sorted, that is a definite plus for you. For other people the whole ATO myID portal and the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) authority etc is not an option, for me personally, my Father doesn't trust anyone with that much personal information, they want you to upload drivers licenses/passports, birth certificates, Medicare cards, my 76 year old Father just moved, he has no idea where his birth certificate is to even begin this kind of set up in time to lodge May IAS. It is just frustrating and the lack of updates even more so. Well done on your win.
After a frustrating day spent setting up the ATO Online Services for Business for the company I work for (battling with the government myid, RAM and Access Manager software) I have finally managed to get permission to lodge IAS/BAS this way (as many others have done). At least I now have a fallback option if this or something similar happens again.
I think getting angry with Australian MYOB staff is pretty pointless given their USA-based overlords (KKR & Co. Inc.) who are probably the real problem. The only thing I can think of is Class Action. If anyone manages to get some sort of refund/compensation I am sure we would all love to know.

Hi Amanda, no you cannot continue to submit. Because you can't access the ATO to download the statement. I have been trying for two weeks, it just comes up with a message saying, that myob can't link with the tax office right now so there are no new statements to download. So I don't have May IAS or the June BAS downloaded to my system to lodge. When I spoke to the person on the online chat, they also said, you can continue to lodge but when I said, no as I don't have the items downloaded, they checked and assured me, this was part of the same problem. You can't connect to download them. So there is nothing to lodge.
