Automated bank transfers

I have turned off all of the automated features, cleared the browser cache, we have never set up bank rules and yet MYOB still keeps entering transfers from the bank feed that we make between our bank accounts. Is there a way to opt out of the AI completely?  It is not appropriate for AI to think it knows what I need for my accounts and it is really annoying!

    Hi Sai, 
    If you actually read my post you would see that I have turned everything off and it is still happening! AI should not be an automatic thing we should have the choice to opt in or out not have it foisted on us!

    Hi Annoyed2026,

     

    I can understand how annoying that would be. If you’d like to turn off these matching and suggestion features, please have a look at this help article: Matching bank transactions

     

    This article shows where you can switch off the available automatch options, including Match to MYOB records. If Smart Reconciliation options are showing in your file, you may also see extra matching or suggestion settings there. If you’ve already turned those off and the transfers are still being entered automatically, please reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so they can investigate this further with you.

    We are experiencing the same issue where AI is generating bank transfers out of nowhere. It is interfering with our reconciliations. Can you please advise how to turn this feature off? I note as @Annoyed2026 states above that you did not address this in your response.

    At least you got a reply. I didn't. I turned off Bank Rules, Automatch settings but MYOB's transactions were there the next day. MOCA is useless. If you tick off MYOB here by saying something unkind, because you're having a nervous breakdown from spending all your weekend trying to delete MYOB's transactions, then no - they won't answer you. There is no option for a bulk delete either. So I'll be working this week-end as well. Thanks MYOB, you wonderful great guys. So helpful and all.

    Hi NCofC,

     

    Thanks for calling that out, and sorry we missed that in the earlier reply. If Smart Reconciliation is available for your business, you can turn it off from the Bank transactions page. Go to Banking > Bank transactions, click the menu next to Smart Reconciliation in the top right, then choose Back to classic view. You can find more info here: Smart Reconciliation help page
