Beta smart matching module disaster
Who in myob can help
Recently (2 days ago) i actioned the beta smart matching module to allocate a number of unallocated transactions……. within a few seconds it destroyed the accounts.
We did a journey security audit of the session.. 191 pages of changes within seconds.
It made changes all the way back to 2016.
When we did a dive onto the changes it’s making some poor decisions ie confusing BPAY with BP fuel etc.
It has destroyed balance sheet/ profit & loss ((every year)/ GST and numerous category totals.
I have reached out to myob phone general support. I did mention it was a Beta product but that must have not registered as only option given is to manually remove as no redo feature available.(WTF).
As you can imagine this is causing us a major issue.
HOWEVER I was mentioning my issue to a mate who is in the AI coding world and he said .. did you say BETA.. as the BETA protocol is it must have a restore/ reverse process.
Just dont know whom or how to make contact to whom in myob will be able to help
and i am not looking forward to the 4 hour phone wait to myob support..
ANYONE GOT IDEAS/ SUGGESTIONS ( I have a case number)
PS. This could be a huge issue for MYOB if not understood & fixed. The power of MyOB AI is very scary
