Tax taken not matching
It has come to my attention when cross checking the tax calculated in payroll with the actual tax tables that the tax has not been calculated correctly for one of our employees.
The tax tables say that $298 tax and $44 STSL should be paid $342.00 total
However MYOB is only deducting $327.00 total.
That is $15.00 less tax is being paid than should be according to the actual tax tables.
I have attached screenshots of the employee (without identifying details) card to show what has been entered.
Apologies everyone - my mistake - STSL change as of 24 Sep 2025 which I thought I had the correct tax table for but didn't.
