Rules not applied in online version

The bank feed rules are applied in the dektop version but not in the browser version.

Is this a bug?

Also, why is support always telling to use Chrome? Its not the most secure browser. I wont use it. Neither do my clients.

Have a nice day

Zappy :)

    Hi Zappy

Thanks for your feedback. We are aware of the situation where bank feed rules created in the desktop version of AccountRight files aren’t applying to bank feed transactions when the file is opened up in the browser version of AccountRight. Additionally when opening the same bank feed rule in the browser, if the tax code is set to (default) in the desktop, it will not show in the browser. This is something our developers are aware of and are working towards a fix.

While we do recommend the use of Google Chrome as it is the most stable and can contain the fewer display errors that we have come across, other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox will work, it is just not recommended.

      Stable?

Explain the logic underlying that assertion. Please and thank you

        Hi Zappy

While the AccountRight browser interface can be used on most browsers, we do recommend Google Chrome as the browser. We recommend that browser as it is the most commonly used by customers (or most customers have easy access to it) and is also the browser that we get the less display errors. Other browsers we have found can generate display, performance and other errors that may impact the use of the AccountRight browser interface.
