What do I put in particulars, code and reference

SO, banking hub wants me to update bank account details. I click to update and says I need to enter bank account type. I do this and it then shows bank account details as blank even tho' they show on...

    A further google search tells me these fields are for use when making electronic payments - so would show on payee statement to determine where came from. As I don't use electronic payments I can put what I want.

Hi CaronHobbs, 

 

Your financial institution can provide those bank account details you mentioned. I recommend reaching out to them to obtain the information.

    I entered financial institution, bank account number and account name. My question is what to put in particulars, code and reference. These are usually transaction related so the bank has no idea what I should enter.  They are required fields as denoted by the *
