Constant log in required daily

Why does MYOB continually ask if you are still there and time out after a period of time?  Shouldn't you be able to log in once a day (unless you log out).  It is not up to MYOB to make sure your computer is secure, that is the operator's responsibility to lock the computer if away from it.

    Hi PPHAccs,

Totally get what you mean. It can be a bit distracting when MYOB asks if you're still there and times out. The reason we've got that in place is to help protect your sensitive business data. If you get pulled into something else or step away from your desk and forget to sign out, the system makes sure no one else can jump in and make any unauthorised changes. We've also set this up to comply with the latest Digital Services Provider guidelines from the ATO. The ATO now requires all cloud-based accounting software to have an inactivity screen lock. It's part of keeping your data secure and ensuring MYOB continues to work smoothly with ATO online services.

    Regards,

    Sai
