How do migrate the data from one MYOB subscription to another

Hi
I have moved to a new MYOB subscription and am struggling to import the data from my previous MYOB subscription. Both are Business Pro plans. The text files that I exported from old MYOB serial doesn't seem to have any data (all figures are $0). There no point importing that into the new instance. Also I need to carry forward all invoices, expenses and payroll data over to the new MYOB but don't know how.
I would really appreciate some help or nudge in the right direction with this migration issue.

    In this matter, exporting the data from your old serial number and importing it to your new serial number is the only option to migrate your data. I've tried to replicate the issue on our back end, and I was able to export some information with complete information. Can I please confirm if there are other users who can try to export the data from your old serial number to see if they're having the same issue? Note that in MYOB Business, you can only export three categories: a chart of accounts, data for your accountant, and items. For further information, please refer to this Help article: Import/Export Data.

    • Thank you Princess_R  for your prompt response. I would have really liked a better way to export the data but looks like what you have suggested is the only way. I ended up re-activating my old serial number in absense of a way to migrate the entire dataset to new subscription. :(.
       I appreciate your help.
