I will download the AccountRight desktop and follow your instructions below.
Before I subscribe to the Myob Business Lite, can you confirm that my business file will be accessible online and I will be able to create invoices and receive payments via phone / tablet, please ??
This is the main reason I want to upgrade Myob, to be able to invoice and get paid on the go
Also, to receive eftpos / credit card payments, which apps are compatible to Myob Lite ???

Thanks for your response.
I can confirm that Business Lite is fully online and can handle recording invoices and payments to them. Also, I recommend going to the MYOB Academy to learn how to use every single feature in the application.
However, I can't answer the question about EFTPOS. I would suggest opening the MYOB Marketplace, to check on possible app integrations for EFTPOS.

Hi Genreve
Following your instructions to upgrade my old Myob product to a new one, I dowloaded the AccountRight but I encountered some issues and couldn't upgrade it.
1. Chosen the "already have a Co. file" but my old file is a .dat file and the new ones are .myox file. So I couldn't open it
2. Chosen the "just upgraded from AR v19 or earlier" and it requests for the Admin User ID and password, which I don't have as I don't need to log in to use my Myob BusinessBasics Version 1 (it's not an online version)
Is there a way to send my Company file to you guys to be converted to a .myob file ??
How do I found out my Admin log in ?? I updated my email in my company file a while ago but I didn't get any code into that email. So, I believe it was registered under an email that I don't have access anymore.

Hi kirra,
Thanks for your response and I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties.
Before you can upgrade the file to the latest version of AccountRight you will need to upgrade the file first to AccountRight V19 (Which I believe you already done). If you haven't set the Administrator password for your file. The default password is blank.
UserID: Administrator
Password:
The process is as follows.
BusinessBasics > AccountRight V19 > AccountRight Desktop Edition > Business Lite.

Hi Genreve
I am trying to upgrade my Co File before I sign up for a subscription to make sure it will work.
I dowloaded the Myob AR as per the link you sent (photo attached)
I can't use the "Open a Co file" as my file is .dat and it will open only .myox files
So I am trying to use the option "Upgrade Co file'
I managed to go through the user Id and password as per your msg, then I signed in but after I clicked "upload" I got an error msg.
Can I send you the Errorlog through here ??
What else should I try ??
I don't want pay for a subscription if I am not sure if I will be able to use my current Co file
