hi this seems unreasonable because the subscription is paid monthly and the data entered does not belong to myob in our view. Why can there not be a backup file made available just like accountright

I totally get your concerns about backup files for MYOB subscriptions, especially when compared to AccountRight. While MYOB Business doesn’t have the manual backup feature like AccountRight, it does offer continuous data protection through its cloud setup. So, your data is automatically backed up and secured, which cuts down on the need for manual backups. If you'd like to see a manual backup feature in future updates, I encourage you to post this suggestion on our Ideas board. It’ll let others weigh in and give our developers something to think about.

this feature in the future will not benefit us as we would have had historical data that needs to move with us now. if you have a file in the cloud then you should be able to provide that file to your customer
