Transitioning offline + online AR Premier Company files to Business Lite

Hi

We have 3 online Company files that MYOB setup under our main AR Premier banner and it is costing us a fortune, so we would like to transfer these files to Business Lite as we do not need all the bells and whistles that AR Premier offers.

Do we need to waiting until 30 June when the subscription is completed for that period or can we move now and transfer those credits over to Business Lite now? 

If so, how do we go about this?

 

We also have one offline Company file that we wish to transfer over to Business Lite online.

Again, how do we go about this?

    Thanks for the update, and I’m glad to hear the Business Lite subscription for the offline file has been set up and the migration form has already been submitted. 

     

    For the 3 online AccountRight files, I can’t confirm from the Community side whether the existing login email is what’s stopping the purchase. In some cases, it can be related to how the MYOB login is linked on the account rather than the company files themselves.

     

    A good first step is to sign in to My Account using that same email address and try the purchase there. If it still won’t go through, the next step would be to submit a support request through My Account or connect with live chat through MOCA , our virtual assistant, so the team can check the account setup and subscription linkage for those files.

     

    Once the new MYOB Business Lite subscriptions are active, you can then move ahead with the migration request for each file.

    Mike_MYOB​ this is very helpful if you are simply staying with AR, but what if you have chosen to go with Business Lite. Yes I have already purchased the product so what is the process from there?

    Hi dieseldigit​ , sorry about that, I did intentionally keep that option separate to not overcomplicate or confuse things.
    When moving into MYOB Business Lite or Pro, you have the done the correct first step which is to purchase the software
    The next step is to complete the migration form here and then MYOB will migrate the data from your AccountRight file into the MYOB Business file

    Mike_MYOB​ Awesome, now I have tried to submit the form just not and it is throwing a technical issue with MYOB - see below. What is your best suggestion in case 17th June arrives before this is corrected?

    Hi dieseldigit​ , sorry to see you came up against an error (thank you for providing the screenshot)

    We have tested and confirmed the form is working from our end, and we are still getting submissions from other customers without issue. 

     

    I would recommend trying a different internet browser or clearing cache. You could also try submitting the form on another device, even your phone.

    Mike_MYOB​ excellent this has now worked.

    I do have another question, I wish to convert 3 of my 5 AR + Premier Co files, but unable to purchase the Business Lite programs for us to enable the migration. Would this be because we already have the AR subscriptions, how do we go about obtaining these new subscriptions whilst remaining under the same login, it that even possible?

    Hi Genreve_S​ Thank you, I have successfully purchased a Business Lite Subscription for the offline file we had and successfully submitted the migration form.
    However we are having issues purchasing Business Lite Subscriptions for the 3 online AR files, it appears the existing login email is not accepting the purchase - would this be because the Co files already exist under this login?
