Hi, when setting up allowances in MYOB that form part of the hourly rate, I have split them out so they are shown separately for STP2 disaggregation purposes. This way each has it's own line item on the payslip.
When overtime is paid how do we set this up as it is not 1.5x the normal hourly rate, it is 1.5x the hourly rate plus the allowances, ie industry and tool allowance that form part of the award overall hourly rate?

Thanks for explaining that. If the allowances have been split out as separate pay items for STP 2 reporting, there isn’t currently an option in MYOB to have overtime automatically calculate as 1.5x of the hourly rate plus those separate allowances. Because of that, the overtime pay item won’t automatically pick up the industry and tool allowances as part of the rate. The usual workaround would be to calculate the combined overtime rate needed and enter it manually, or set up a separate pay item/rate for that overtime where needed.
