EOFY/New Financial Year Payroll

Hello, sorry if this is a silly question.. I am due to process weekly pay run today for dates 27/6 - 3/7. As this is a cross over of EOFY/New financial year can I still process pay as normal or does ...

    Hey sarahtaylor93,

     

    No worries at all. There’s absolutely no need to split your pay run just because it covers both sides of the financial year. Pay's always counted in the year it’s actually paid. If your payment date is in the 2024-2025 year, it gets included there, and if you pay it in the 2025-2026 year, it goes into that one. Process your payroll as usual and we'll make sure it lands in the right financial year for you.
