How do I update STP for prior year?

Question

We have found that wages have been incorrectly reported in the 2024 financial year for one particular employee. Now that the MYOB file has rolled into the 2026FY I can't get back into 24FY through the STP reporting tab. How can I update the ATO with the correct STP information for 2024?

The software only lets you handle STP reporting for this payroll year and last year. So, if you’re looking to sort out payroll for someone in 2024, you won’t be able to do that directly in the software. You’ll need to report those adjustments to the ATO manually.
