How to find all transactions for a job

Hi,

I am used to using the desktop app, but since yesterday morning have been unable to login (I have just opened a case). But in the meantime, I normally use 'find transactions' and filter by job to reconcile our jobs, however I can't find a similiar solution in the browser version of MYOB.

I tried 'find transactions' but there's no dropdown for Job (which seems weird). and when I put the job ID in the search it only shows a small percentage of the transactions.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

    Hi Lib,

I'm sorry for the delay. Being locked out for that long is a huge pain, and things definitely shouldn't have gone down that way. I followed up your support case with the relevant team and asked them to look into it as soon as possible. They’ll contact you directly by email through your case.

    Cheers,

    Princess

    Hi Doreen_P

I noted you said above you can see my support request is in the queue. It has been 7 days and I haven't heard anything back. I am still unable to log into my account, it seems like pretty terrible customer service that I am locked out for that long. Can you please see if you can follow this up?

    Hi Lib,

Sorry you’ve been locked out of the desktop app while trying to keep your job reconciliations moving. I can see that your support is now on queue and is awaiting to be actioned.

You’re not missing a setting here, the MYOB Business browser version doesn’t offer the same Job dropdown in Find transactions, so searching by the job ID may not return every transaction linked to that job. The closest workaround is going to:

    • Reporting
    • Reports
    • Jobs and run the Job transactions report. Set the date range and job filter, then export the report to Excel if you need to work through the transactions line by line.

It isn’t quite the same as the desktop workflow, but it should help keep the job tidy while your login case is being looked into. More information is available in Jobs reports.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
