Incorrect financial year date

Hi all, hopefully some one can assist with a "work around".

The financial year date has been incorrectly set as 2028, it seems that we can do everything by entering the correct date range but we cannot do a payrun (stp) as there is not an option to override the payroll date.

I would appreciate a fix to this issue as atm it seems the only option is to create a new company file and import all data.

We are using MYOB Business

Thanks in advance, Alison

  • Hi Alison3000,

Sadly, to confirm, our team can only roll back a financial year by one year. Because your file is sitting in FY 2028, rolling back won’t get you far enough. The easiest way to sort it out is to set up a new MYOB Business file with the right year and move across the data you need.

    Cheers,

    Princess

Thank you for prompt reply Princess, I was very much hoping for an easy fix but its not to be.  I am now researching which MYOB product will best suit the business & easy of migrating data, thanks again. Alison
