Invalid ABN for SMSF

Question

Hi&nbsp;&nbsp;I am a bookkeeper and have a client that has started using business lite.&nbsp; &nbsp;We have registered for pay super into the SMSF fund.&nbsp; When&nbsp; I am trying to processing the payment via Business Lite and it is saying that I have an invalid ABN.&nbsp; I have read the previous thread of queries and it seems that I can process a payments until the superfund income tax return has been lodged.&nbsp; But we are in the current financial period.&nbsp; I am unsure about how to proceed?&nbsp;

You can check the ABN on the ATO's Super Fund Lookup tool and see if it has the status of "Regulation Details Removed". This means the regulation details of this SMSF have been removed due to failure to lodge returns. The status needs to be "active" for us to process the payments associated with that fund. Therefore, this requires the fund to contact ATO and get the status changed.
