Job Costing in Payroll

Hi,  Just wondering, can you allocate an employee timesheet to multiple jobs or departments at all in MYOB Business?

I'm using Payroller, which doesn't but use MYOB for our accounting and was going to switch, but need department or job costing.

Thanks

Ian

  • Hi iantelf

Yes, you can allocate timesheets to different jobs directly from the software. This process can be done while creating the pay run. You can read through this link, as it can serve as a guide to the process.

    Thanks,

      Hi Genreve,

This is in Accountright?  We're using the online MYOB Business, there doesn't appear to be jobs or job costing in the timesheets entry?

      Thanks

        Hi iantelf,

In MYOB Business, you cannot allocate an employee timesheet to multiple jobs or departments. This feature is available in AccountRight. If you need job costing and timesheet entry, you might want to consider using AccountRight instead. See this link for more product plans and feature details.

        Cheers,

        Shella
