PAYG Withholding tax difference

Thanks for the screenshot. Makes sense to question a PAYG withholding change with the same employee and gross. Given the timing, the difference you’re seeing between September and October is most likely from the ATO tax table update that rolled out in late September. If that doesn’t apply, it could be that a pay item was accidentally set as PAYG‑exempt, or a pre‑tax deduction/salary sacrifice changed. Give those quick double‑check and you should see why the PAYG amount is different.
