Payroll reports

When I go to print a payroll register report for the previous month to get the IAS and super details, it only shows the current staff.  If I have made a staff member inactive and they worked in the previous month, they do not show in the report.  The only way around it, is to add inactive employees and it makes the list very long, as this company has a lot of itinerant staff.  Otherwise, I have to leave the staff member as active and then they keep appearing in the payroll list.

Can this be fixed please or is there a way around this?

    Hi wjdavidson158,

That can get a bit cumbersome when you’ve got a lot of staff moving in and out. What you’re seeing is how the report is designed. If an employee has been made inactive, they won’t show in the report unless you choose to include inactive employees. So the workaround is the one you’ve already found: either tick inactive employees when running the report, or leave the employee active a bit longer until you’ve finished the reporting you need for that period.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Thank you Doreen.  I was aware of that, but wasn't sure if there was any other way to do it.

    Cheers
