Forum Discussion
Hi,
I am experiencing the same issue with several employees. I can see that Child Care Super / GuildSuper is listed in MYOB; however, when I attempt to process the payment, MYOB advises that the super fund details are invalid.
Could you please treat this as an urgent matter, as we may be liable for ATO Superannuation Guarantee Charge (SGC) penalties if the issue is not resolved promptly?
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Hi Jesika_Rubiano,
Thanks for the screenshot. I understand the urgency here, especially with several employees affected and the potential compliance impact of delayed super payments. This appears to be related to the recent change to the Child Care Super/GuildSuper fund details. The previous fund record was recently retired, and the replacement fund record with the current SPIN/USI and ABN became available from 5 September. To update the affected employees:
- Recreate or add the current GuildSuper fund record in MYOB using the latest details supplied by the fund. For guidance, see Set up superannuation funds.
- Open each affected employee’s record and go to their Payroll Details > Superannuation section.
- Select the newly created GuildSuper fund, check the employee’s member number, and save the changes.
- Return to Pay Super and reprocess the failed contributions using the updated fund record.
Please don’t continue trying to process the payments against the old fund record, as MYOB may continue to reject those details. You can also check the current fund details in the MYOB Super Funds list.
Cheers,
Doreen
