Hi carsonlkc,
I recommend opening the employee record and going to the Payroll details section. Then, open the Leave tab and click Save. This updates the background info to allow the pay to be recorded.
If you still get the same error after clicking Save on the Leave tab, try clearing the cache on your browser. This might fix the error message.
