setting up a contractor to pay superannuation

Need some help setting up one sub contractor to pay superannuation.  The business is a Sole Proprietor so owner is not taking a "salary" or paying herself superannuation but she has someone help her ...

    Thanks for your post.

     

    If you need to pay super for a contractor, you may need to manually add them as an employee and then enter their super details as you will need to process the super payments through payroll. When processing your payroll to pay super for the contractor, kindly enter the super amount only into their pay. So, you can declare the pay as well to the ATO as part of your STP reporting.
