Should terminated employees stay on current records despite being 2 years ago?

Hi there, I have an employee that was terminated in EOFY June 2023, however continues to show up on reports as a nil record.  I have done all the required notifications to ATO etc and made him inact...

All good, once I finalised the 2024 data, the terminated employee from 2023 no longer shows up.

They must leave it there for another year in case you want him back!
