Forum Discussion
Hi Shaynee,
Thanks for your post and for providing the super fund details as well as the error message.
My apologies for the delay in response. The first error can occur when the super fund has had some changes, e.g., merged or renamed. I'd suggest using this current Super Fund list to verify the fund details; it's best to look up the fund based on its SPIN or USI instead of the fund name.
The second error typically occurs when the super fund or SMSF created is corrupted. To fix it, can you please re-create the superfund in the superfund list window, naming it slightly different from the previous fund created? Once you've done this, can you link the employees to this fund and attempt to pay the super?
Let me know how it goes.
Otherwise, if my response has answered your inquiry, please click "Accept as Solution" to help other users find this.
Kind regards,
Shella

Hi Bertbunny,
Thanks for the update. If you’ve already tried the workaround our moderator suggested like creating a new super fund with a slightly different name and you’re still getting the same inactive fund message, it’d be best to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so they can take a closer look at your file and fund setup.
Regards,
Sai
