Superannuation reversal

Hi All,

I am working with MYOB Business.

I had to reverse and re-run an employee payroll.

This has meant that in my superannuation there is now a negative and a positive super amount for the reversed and the new payrun.

How do I reverse the previous superannuation run for the incorrect pay( which is still processing) and then remove the negative and the incorrect superannuation from my file?

Thanks

Cass

    Hi Cassie123,

Currently, the negative superannuation amount cannot be removed unless a new positive superannuation amount is processed. However, this will affect the payroll reports as the amounts will change. It is recommended to leave the negative superannuation amount and continue processing the positive superannuation.

    Regards,
    Earl

OK, I can do this thank you.

Is there a way to reverse the Superannuation that has been put through, as the newer amount is different.

You used to be able to reverse it, but not sure I can see how you can do this now.

      Hi Cassie123,

You can reverse the superannuation payment, but you won't be able to completely remove it from the system once it's been processed. For more details on how to handle superannuation reversals, you can read this guide.

Let us know if you need any other help.

      Thanks,

      Genreve

Thank you for your response, unfortunately I have followed these instructions and there is no option to reverse this transaction. Perhaps MYOB has changed this? as I know I have been able to reverse it in the past, but I am unable to do so now.
