How do you set up your payroll not to pay superannuation on overtime hours and allowances?

Hi Yolande1,
To exclude superannuation from overtime hours and allowances, you can adjust this in the super fund settings.
- Go to Payroll > Pay items > Superannuation and select the relevant superannuation category.
- Edit the Superannuation Guarantee and ensure that the overtime and allowance wage categories are set as exempt.
- Under Exempt, click Add exemptions and select the wage categories you want to exempt, such as overtime or specific allowances.
You can set these as exempt in the super fund settings, so super won’t be calculated on those amounts.
