The error you’re seeing with those two Request IDs usually means there is invalid or duplicated data in the background that is blocking the invoice from being updated or deleted. Good call on noting both messages. Start by clearing your cookies and cache, log out and back in, then test again using a different browser. After that, check out these steps:
- Check if the invoice has a payment or was reconciled.
Undo the reconciliation, delete the payment, then try updating or deleting the invoice again.
- Open the invoice through Find transactions and try editing or deleting it from there.
- Run a General Ledger report, open the invoice from the report, and try editing or deleting it from that window.
- If the invoice has an online payment surcharge line, find the surcharge transaction through Find transactions and delete that first. Then go back and try the main invoice again.
