Generally, this error is related to the number of characters in the Notes field and impacts saving the changes to the other fields in the client's card if characters exceed the maximum limit.
May I know where exactly you are trying to change the address? Can you please provide more details on how you changed the address details?

I am trying to change the address of a client using the following path -
More > Contacts > All Contacts > *search client, amend & save*
To go over previous discussions -
- The only fields I am trying to change are address fields. I have tried numerous ways to enter the new address to ensure I am not using too many characters.
- The new address only has 22 characters including spaces. I have also tried changing this field to 6 characters as a test but still no joy.
- I have tried using both Firefox & Google Chrome browsers.
- I have removed all notes (although there were only 14 characters used) and I have played with the name and address in order to shorten these fields as much as possible (although none of these fields are excessive).
- The error message doesn't appear to direct me to any particular field and there are no fields highlighted to show an error in any way.
- The Serial number is ***8056
- I have also tried completely deleting the address altogether and pressing save, however this shows the same error code as before - One or more fields exceed the maximum character limit - and refuses to delete.
Am I in the wrong area for amending an address altogher? Hopfully its as simple as that and I can finally get it done!

Can you please try to check on the Note? Make sure that the Note part is blank. Also limit is 49 characters.

Sorry Cel - There are no notes attatched to this client so I dont think it can be that. Anthing else or anywhere else I should check?

Can you send me a Private Message together with the old address and the new address that you are trying to enter on the address field. And also the serial number and kindly indicate the contact type if this is for your Supplier, Customer or Personal. Make sure that sensitive information cannot be posted on the Forum.

Sorry - This doesn't work either.
As suggested, I deleted all fields and re-typed the client name, ABN etc along with the new address however I am still receiving the same error.
Any other suggestions?
