Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.
Kindly attach a screenshot of the invoice you're trying to customise where we can see the GST number showing as number only. However, in MYOB Business, customising template invoice has very limited features.
Regarding the error message received when saving the customised template, please steps below to correct the situation:
To save the template without a GST number, De-select the "GST number" option under Header information - Your business details.
