I'm having issues with customer payment terms. I have set payment terms as prepaid which shows the due date as prepaid, however when emailing the invoice the email template is saying the due date...

In MYOB Business, the default payment terms apply to all invoices. If you've removed the due date from your invoice template, the next step is to make sure the default payment terms in your sales settings are correct and match the payment terms in your reminder settings. so what you are saying that choosing different payment terms on the actual invoice is irrelevant because it will always use the default payment terms in the invoice settings. So why is there the option in the creation of the invoice to change the settings when this is ignored

The payment terms on individual invoices can indeed be adjusted. The system uses the default payment terms to ensure consistency and efficiency across all invoices unless specifically overridden.
When creating an invoice, the option to change payment terms is available so that you can cater to unique customer agreements. So, make sure that any payment term changes are saved before finalising the invoice.

this client has customers on 14 day, 30 day & prepaid. if you select "prepaid" when creating the invoice, the system still defaults to the payment terms in the invoice set up. so it disregards any choice taken when you create a new invoice.
