Failure to Update Bill Number to New Numbering Series

I want to Start a New Sequence of Bill Numbers that reflect the New Financial Year and a Number.

When I Save & New or just save then next day Create New Bill, I'm creating the New Blank Bill has the Old Numbering Scheme

This I what I'm Trying to Do which I have had to Change each Bill No. Separately.
I want to Start a Bills Sequence starting at FY2023-0001, FY2023-0002, etc

What I get is the previous Series numbering e.g. 00000207
This is Contrary to the info in the Creating Bill Instructions pages.
(If you change the bill number, you’ll change the automatic numbering. For example, if you change the number to EX000081, the next time you create a bill, MYOB Essentials will display the new bill number as EX000082.)
