Thank you for your post. Templates are used to control what's displayed in the header across the top of your invoices, quotes, and statements. Before working with templates, it's a good idea to check that your business details and your customer address details are up to date—this information appears automatically on your invoices, quotes, and statements. Yes I'm aware of how to create a template and have done so.. I would like to add a description of goods that isn't tied to a specific price. Is that at all possible? That is my only question.

For anyone looking at this thread the answer is no. You can't add a job description, only line descriptions. Such a pity the product won't work for electricians!
