Hi Birdsferry , out of interest, which MYOB program are you using? (I don't have access to that information).
And can you find out from Preno's configuration/set-up MYOB integration options, or ask Preno support, whether they are posting item or service invoices?
If you are using MYOB Business (browser only program), MYOB's suggestion to check the invoice layout might be the answer to your problem.
