MYOB STILL SUCKS - WHY ARENT INVOICE NUMBERS AND QUOTE NUMBERS SEPERATE?

MYOB used to be ok but since this stupid upgrade was forced apon us I want to know why they cant fix simple issues. 

 

Quotes used to start with Q

 

Invoices used to start with INV

 

Basically running 2 x seperate numberins systems. 

 

If you converter a quote to a sale, because lets face it you dont win every quote, the quote would be converter to a new invoice and take the next invoice number. 

 

Why hasnt this been recitified yet. 

 

I brought this issue to the table as soon as this stupid upgrade happened.

 

WHY WHY WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I totally agree.

    This needs to be fixed.

    We as a plumbing business if we are put through a QBCC audit which they do sometimes they ask for so many continuous invoices.  If there are invoice numbers missing (eg those that have been put as quotes) then they question as to why and then want another say 100 invoices sent to them and so on.

    It really is not right how this new update changed things.

    I dont have time to check numbers.  We pay way to much for this software.

    There are cheaper versions of software out there that work way better then MYOB.

    I use to recommend MYOB but sadly I wont be no more.

    MYOB start fixing these problems please.

    Thank you for posting your feedback regarding the update in detail. 

     

    I understand this has been raised multiple times by users and clearly the preferred numbering system by users is the old system. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to check what the development team is currently working on, since this is internal to them. All we could do for the moment was raise each suggestion to them. 

     

    I am aware that this does not answer your question. But regardless we will keep raising this to the appropriate team.

      Hi. Do you actually work for MYOB or not. Has anyone called the development team to find out WTF is happening with this?

        I'm sorry if you feel that the team is not taking this issue seriously. We recently received an update regarding this request. The team is currently working on having this feature as one of their priorities and has started to do research and discovery on this capability of the product. We will do what we can to update you regarding this and we appreciate you for extending your patience in the matter.

      why won't myob implement simple changes. 

      the team responsible should admit they have created a fault and it should be rectified in days. Not months
