Totally get your client's hesitation with changes like this. The move to secure invoicing is a required upgrade, mainly to boost protection against invoice fraud and make sure everyone's details are kept safe and sound. That said, once their business is verified and the upgrade's done, they can switch off the secure invoicing feature if they don't want to use it moving forward. Also, from what I can gather, if they do not comply and get coerced into something they don't want, they will also lose part of the functionality they already have and pay for: namely, emailing directly from the MYOB software.

As for the emailing side of things, while a business is still undergoing verification for secure invoicing, they won't be able to send email directly from MYOB. So, we are correct in thinking that if they choose NOT to go down this path, they will lose the ability to email directly from MYOB ... a feature that they already have; pay for; but will lose if they don't 'comply'. Is that correct?
