Undoing a Customer sales payment

I have tried to delete a customer payment to no avail.  I cannot access the edit button to delete payment.  Something has changed in MYOB.  Normally you can access and delete payment and it will show...

    Hi

    That is what I normally do but MYOB was not letting me do that. Like I said no access to edit.  My solution was close it down and re open and I was able to fix it.  Thanks anyway.

Hi Hcbp, 

 

I can see why this is confusing, especially when you’ve been able to delete the payment this way before.

 

To delete a customer payment, open the invoice from Sales > Invoices, then click the payment reference in the Activity history and choose Delete. If the payment has already been matched to a bank transaction or reconciled, unmatch it or undo the reconciliation first. You may need to redo the bank-feed match or reconciliation afterwards.
