AccountRight Negative Inventory Value

Question

Good morning,I noticed that one of our products had a negative inventory quantity on hand.When looking into the item history I found it had been sold/invoiced without the stock showing as being on hand.We build this product from several items, so this was a concern as the other products did not have their stock adjusted when this item was sold/invoiced.&nbsp; &nbsp;I have had to adjust these products manually, please explain how this can happen.&nbsp;We also have several items with odd formulas in the "On Hand" and when you go into the item it has a nil value on hand.ThanksCathie

What you’re seeing with the negative on‑hand and the odd “On Hand” formulas points to the underlying item history/inventory data in the file being out of sync, rather than just a simple setup issue. Hi Archskirt01​&nbsp;this happens to us all the time, and we have to phone and ask them to run a scipt.&nbsp; We do the same with our inventory that we build from multiple units until a different single unit.&nbsp; &nbsp;Painful, but just keep an eye on it,&nbsp; Whenever you see balances with massive decimal point roundings, or negative stocks, its time to get the script run.&nbsp; Hopefully that solves it for you.
