AccountRight Single Sign-On EAP

We’re rolling out Early Access for Single Sign On (SSO) in AccountRight.

We've selected a small group of users who will be participating in the early access program, if this is you, you’ll see a smoother sign in experience between the desktop and browser.

  • Sign in once to move between desktop and browser
  • Your email address is pre-filled on login screens
  • Works with your preferred password manager

Here are a few extra details about how it works:

  • Single Sign On is only available for online files, so your file will need to be online to access this feature.

Works with your default browser and password manager

  • You can use password managers that are enabled in your default browser for both desktop and browser sign in.
  • When you sign in from AccountRight, it will automatically open and use the default browser set on your computer.
  • Supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Inactivity timeouts

  • Inactivity timeouts still apply to browser session – you’ll be signed out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • If you’re logged into both the AccountRight desktop and browser at the same time, each session operates independently. Being active in desktop doesn’t sign you out of the browser (and vice versa), and the inactivity timers for each session are separate.
  • Single sign-out isn’t available yet. You’ll still need to sign out separately from both the desktop and the browser.

If you have any feedback or questions, feel free to leave a comment below – we’d love to hear how the new sign in is working for you.

Hi Mike_MYOB, this is a very serious issue, please get the devo team to fix it asap.
I'm facing the same issue. I've signed in but when I click Process Payroll this screen pops up every time:

Yes I can log in but the sign in screen is different. A box pops up about arl-sso.myob and there is a button the click to access AccountRight. But once in the software when I click on Process Payroll the "something's gone wrong and we need to close AccountRight" error message appears.

Hi mumof2 , just to confirm, you have been able to log into your software
But your access appears to have changed and you cannot access the payroll menu?
Do you receive an error that you can share or any other details?

Good morning Non-For-Profit . Thanks for reaching out about your experience with Single Sign-On, I'm glad to have you involved.
Can I please just confirm - is your file online?
And are you only accessing AccountRight on the desktop, or are you also accessing AccountRight in the browser/switching between the two?

Hi Mike_MYOB, I received an email to say I will get early access for SSO from Mon, 16 Feb and was super excited for it!

However, today and yesterday I still repeatedly get this screen whenever I get logged out. I also can't use my password manager and have to manually enter everything as usual.

Do I need to activate anything? I use the latest version 2026.1.1.7 of AccountRight Plus (desktop).
