MYOB Assist App
I personally have not used the receipt function on the app, but from what i can see from reviews its pretty good minus not having the ability to do multiple pages.
But I have just spend 2 hours looking into the functionality of the invoicing feature and spent 45 mins (including hold time) on phone to your support line and honestly the app is really underdeveloped and not user friendly. Its not a great idea to remove the ability to download a previous app until you have all the bugs worked out for the new app. This app was released in September and the old app only available until November. You need longer! If this app is only available in Australia I hope you have the resources to get all this ironed out soon.
The MYOB employee told me all i can do is put a post on the community forum to assist and advise of the bugs, so here it is. The biggest issues i can find in the hour i played around with the app.
- The customers name and address stored on the customer card file doesn't even appear on the invoice!!!
- When you go to email the invoice from the app. The email address for the customer that is stored in the customer card file does not pre-populate and you therefore have to type the email address manually. Which is crazy! It also doesn't add a subject or body.
- There is a field to add a note to customer. This doesn't even go onto the invoice.
I'm sure there is more but i am not wasting anymore time on it. Really not trying to be rude, just only way to get this information to you. We were already thinking of going to Xero and this has been a cherry on top. We need to invoice from an app straight away and cant wait to get the bugs fixed.
