MYOB Assist

Can we go back to Capture

With Myob assist it is very frustrating trying to login because to use the authenticator app you have to come out of the myob assist to get it and then Myob makes you begin again to sign in. I hate this application. I much preferred the capture. Can we go back to capture because that is all we use the app for. Also in logging in the biometrics is asked for, for the email, and then I have to type the password, biometrics not asked for this, then authenticate.... All very time consuming and frustrating

    Hey MBRFY,

     

    Looks like you had MYOB Assist humming for weeks, then it slipped back into the old login loop. Because it’s happening again on your side, the best next step is to reach out to our team on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account. They can go through some troubleshooting and see if they can figure out what is happening for you.

  • For the last few weeks MYOB Assist has been working and now it has gone back to unable to to login because to use the authenticator app you have to come out of the myob assist to get it and then Myob makes you begin again to sign in. So why has it gone back to the previous issue. Again so frustrating and such a waste of my time for an application that was simple and worked as needed previously under capture.

    Hi Jnine,

     

    Great question, but for MYOB Assist, we suggest everyone signs in with their own MYOB login. That way, their two‑factor authentication (2FA) codes go straight to them, not to whoever’s currently registered on the device.

    Is there any way that each person that uses MYOB Assist can download the authenticator so that it doesn't keep going to the registered user?

    Thanks for the honest feedback about MYOB Assist. Having to switch to an authenticator app and then restart the login isn’t ideal, and appreciate you calling it out. Since MYOB Capture is being decommissioned, we won’t be moving back to that app, but we’re focused on making MYOB Assist the easiest way to get things done. We’ll pass this straight to the team.
