New myob assist app

Talk about taking a step backwards.  It's ridiculous that you have to go through the whole login process to capture an invoice.  Please include couture features that don't require 2FA login.

Totally agree with your comment - having just setup a user to solely use for capturing the receipts and then finding out you need to use 2FA also, I think I'm done with this app. We'll find a way around it with other software I think.

If the employee "enables biometrics" when they log in, they should only have to complete the 2FA the first time.

If you "enable biometrics" you shouldn't have to do the 2FA everytime.

Employees can still access the customer details though - on the app go to more on bottom right hand and then go into customers. Here they can edit, delete, add and change details on the customers.  Not sure how they can do this with only purchases selected as their access level?? Can this be changed?   

They can also email all customers (direct from the app) and have access to their phone numbers and addresses. 

Thank you Amanda. This is my view from Myob Assist.  I can edit, delete, email and copy information on the customers.  Any ideas on how to delete this function please? Thank you

Also Amanda - how do you go giving a few people the same email login with the verification codes? Do you have to log into the app everyday so you verify the account and then they can use it on the road? The only other option appears to give everyone access (under their own email) to just purchases and the app. Then they get the code and can login? Thank you

I made up a generic email address that is only used for this purpose which means only 1 x login and password for all employees.

The first time each employee logs in, it sends a code to my phone but as long as the employee "enable biometrics", they won't require a code each time.
